Include Newspaper name, article title, picture, article itself, and an interview (historical person or made-up). Due next class.

Once we have completed our Euro Maps (don't forget to study for the map exam!) students will create a short powerpoint presentation on a European nation. The following information must be included:
Square Miles...Area Comparative...Population...Ethnic Groups...Religions...Language...Government Type...Leader...Exports...Alliances...Two famous historical figures...three historical events
Most of the information can be found online at CIA FACTBOOK.
Please include a map of the nation and some pics showing landmarks, cities, ethnic dress, etc.
This is an open ended project...you will be graded on completion of the required info. Be prepared to present your information to the class. ( no more than 3 minutes per student).

1. Map exercise. Grab a green map from the cubby. Atlases can be found beneath. Turn to page 97 and identify each country on the green map. (Hint: you want to just number the individual countries and create a map key to the side of the actual Europe Map). You will be tested on the Europe map.
2. We will be meeting in Library on Tuesday. See Mr. Oswald For Instructions.
